We had a fabulous time preparing for and participating in our first "Night at the Gallery" Student Art Show!!! A great time was had by all! The students proudly showed off their different displays and the guests learned how art is a vital part of the educational process. Each display was labelled as to what curriculum focus was emphasized. For instance one class utlized math skills by measuring and counting cups of rice as they made rice sock snowmen. Another class identified scientific concepts such as velocity and used it in controlling their spin art projects. It's just another way we make learning fun, and why we say... "Come and Play in VPK!"
